Adventure Playground in Berkeley, CA

The Adventure Playground in Berkeley, CA, was opened in 1979. So it has been existing for centuries. This concept of Adventure Playground originated in Europe after World War II. I like this playground because it offers children an opportunity to enjoy the structures of the playground. It creates an opportunity for children to learn about cooperation, gain self-confidence, meet physical challenges, and have fun. Children enjoy moving around and manipulating to make their own makeshifts. The Adventure Playground also offers a drop-in program where children ages seven and above can be dropped off by their guardians and stay at the playground while the trained staff on-site monitors the children’s safety.
